CEO

Don is the cornerstone of the organization in terms of vision and leadership. Throughout his three decades of service, he has been involved in the design, development and construction of more than $1.5 Billion in commercial, industrial, research office and recreational facilities in 20 states. He remains instrumental in overseeing the conceptual development and feasibility studies for prospective projects, including new construction or existing building evaluations, land acquisition, assisting clients in the early stages of facility assessment, arranging project financing and coaching, owning or leasing decisions. Don brings his prior experience as a Certified Public Accountant for Plante Moran where he served clients in the construction and real estate development space. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Michigan State University.

Randall DeRuiter, P.E.

PRESIDENT

Known for his ability to develop a high level of collaboration between owners, designers and construction professionals, Randy is a registered Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the design and construction of housing, industrial, R&D and multi-story office buildings. While performing his duties as president, Randy’s hands-on management style allows him to remain involved with estimating, design coordination and construction activities. Prior to entering into the construction industry, he gained valuable experience as a consulting engineer with a firm specializing in geotechnical engineering and material testing. Randy has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.

VICE PRESIDENT

Sam has over 19 years of experience in all aspects of construction operations. Having joined Cunningham-Limp in 1997, Sam made his way from assistant superintendent and project manger to his current role where he is responsible for establishing a structure around our client’s vision, while focusing on staying on budget and within a defined schedule. During the planning stages, he works closely with the design teams to provide unique and creative value engineering assessments, construct-ability recommendations and ultimately developing a platform that will be successfully constructed. Sam has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Ferris State University, He also is LEED AP, C.I. certified.

Stephen R. Guidos

Stephen R. Guidos

PRINCIPAL

Steve has been with Cunningham-Limp since 1987. His current responsibilities include community initiatives, networking and identification of real estate opportunities. Steve has overseen the office, R & D, industrial and commercial construction projects totaling 17,000,000 square feet in 20 states. Prior to his current role, Steve was employed with American Electric Power Corporation in Columbus, Ohio where he was responsible for construction engineering, project controls and capital forecasting. He also worked in sales at Target Construction Company out of Dublin, Ohio.
